How To Sew Halloween Costumes

It is easier than you think to sew your own Halloween Costumes.

Here is a guide to homemade Halloween costumes for people who have two left hands. You can learn here how to make classic Halloween costumes easily and even at the last minute. The costumes described here require neither sewing nor special materials and can fit every age. Now that you are left without excuses, go make one of these customs:

Ghost Costume

Materials:

3 yards long white cloth

white sweat suit

black and white face paint or make up

glitter body spray

Instructions:

Cut a hole larger than your head in the middle of the white cloth and wear it over the sweat suit

Cover the face with the white make up and rub some black make up under the eyes

At the end, spray the hair with some white glitter

Zombie Costume

Materials:

old jeans and T shirt

black face color or make up

fake teeth

Instructions:

Rub and tear the old clothes so they would look ragged.

Paint black under the eyes so they would look hollow

Add fake teeth and muss your hair so it would look uncombed

Glow in the Dark Skeleton

black gloves

old of sneakers

glue gun and glue

Instructions:

Cut the pieces of the glow in the dark skeleton wall decoration and attach them to the sweat suit at the joints using the glue gun.

Cut the skeleton mask and attach it to the knit cap.

Cut the skeleton palms and attach them to the gloves.

Finally, attach the feet to the old pair of sneakers.

Mummy Costume

Materials:

white sweat suit

white sheet

black and white face paint or make up

baby powder

Instructions:

Tear the white sheet into long strips

Wear the sweat suit and wrap the paper strips all around you

Cover your face with white face paint or make up and draw dark circles around the eyes

Finally, spray some baby powder in the hair and on the paper strips

Bride of Frankenstein

Materials:

2 or more old black nightgowns in different lengths

black cloth

black make up and black lipstick

black hair spray

Instructions:

Wear the shorter nightgowns on the top of the longer

Create a veil with the black cloth

Put dark make up around the eyes and put on black lipstick

Spray your hair with black hair spray

Black Cat Costume

Materials:

black sweat suit

construction paper

black marker

stapler

black face paint

Instructions:

Create a tail using the construction paper and attach it to the back of the black sweat pants with a stapler.

Create a cat ear headband with the rest of the construction paper: first cut a two inch wide strip that would be long enough to cover the forehead and leave a few inches to attach the ends. Then, create pointed ears with a folded paper. If you choose to decorate them with spots or stripes, do it before you attach them. The ears should be attached to the paper strip from their bottom edge with a staple. Finally, try on the strip around the forehead and staple it by its ends.

Wear the sweat suit with the attached tail

Draw whiskers and a black nose using the face paint
